Many thanks to all who contributed to the Emergency Fund! DKG sisters who experience a natural disaster will much appreciate the help. You can donate any time on the DKG website—and donations are tax deductible.
Have you visited the Mt. Hood Room on the 2nd floor? If not, then take time between events to visit the Art Gallery. You will find tables and easels showing off the artistic talent of DKG members—photos, paintings, quilting, stitchery, crafts, and more await you.
Shop! Chapter paraphernalia or member pins and badges; note cards, pens, and pencils; T-shirts, fleece jackets, visors, and official DKG jewelry are just some of the choices. Some items are available on-the-spot; others need to be ordered. Vendors are eager to sell their wares. How about a “mug rug”? a “garbage bag” (much too pretty for that name) for your car?
Saturday features keynote speakers—Dr. Gene Sharratt at
General Session 3 and President Becky Sadowski at the banquet. Information. Inspiration. Fellowship. It’s
all waiting for you! The conference and the evening end with farewells, a
sing-along, and a visit to the Hospitality Room.
