Ticketed Events = Ticketed Events

The featured speaker presentations and celebrations are several of the most enjoyable times at a DKG conference. At the July conference in Phoenix, two of the three speakers and the closing celebration will be ticketed events. In order to participate in these events, members and guests will need to purchase a ticket for each event.

Ticketed events (food or non-food) will only be open to those who purchase tickets. The ticket price for each conference event helps the Society to meet the food and beverage contract with the resort. Since every member or guest in the room is entitled to a meal, it is also easier for the resort wait staff and protects the integrity of the event for those members who purchased the meal ticket.

Additional gallery seating will not be an option to hear the speakers or view the closing performance. Rows of chairs in the back of the room or empty tables convey the message that bringing food into the event space is acceptable. The contract with the resort strictly forbids food not served by the banquet manager/team to be brought into the meeting space.

Make plans to hear inspiring messages from the conference speakers and to celebrate DKG. Purchasing event tickets allows us to meet the conference contractual expectations. Thank you for helping us to move forward with vitality, relevance, and sustainability in our changing world.
